This role is for a Media Planner at Comcast Advertising, responsible for developing strategic cross-platform media plans and avails for linear and digital advertising. The role involves pre-sales activities, pricing campaigns, assisting with negotiations, and guiding sales through deal closures. It requires understanding client objectives and optimizing inventory to meet campaign goals across various media platforms.

What you'd actually do

  1. Creates proposals across different media platforms adhering to all rate cards such as: Linear (Market & National), Linear Addressable, VOD, IP/OTT, Digital Display, and Native/X1 Guides.
  2. Conducts proper analysis to determine optimal inventory to deliver on client goals, customizing for specific target audiences when needed.
  3. Advises upon pre-empt notices, overall reporting, and other related inventory information.
  4. Proactively develops alternative recommendations when client inventory/specification requirements cannot be met.
  5. Applies previous campaign learnings to consistently improve schedule building over time.
