Media Workflow Engineer

Peloton is seeking a Media Workflow Engineer to manage and optimize their post-production and broadcast systems, including MAM and transcoding pipelines. The role involves designing automated workflows, supporting server environments, and collaborating with creative and engineering teams. Experience with AI technologies for workflow automation is desired.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the maintenance of our MAM (Backlight Iconik) and shared storage infrastructures (OpenDrives, Quantum)
  2. Design, build, and optimize automated workflows on premises and on cloud based workflows. Transcoding pipelines using Telestream Vantage, Hiscale FLICS, and GLIM
  3. Serve as the primary technical lead for metadata taxonomy, video codecs, and delivery specifications, ensuring seamless integration across software and cloud engineering teams
  4. Provide expert-level support for Mac, Linux, and Windows server environments while maintaining high-fidelity technical documentation for our evolving architecture
  5. Collaborate with Post-Production and Broadcast teams to translate creative needs into robust technical solutions, from cloud-based archiving to infrastructure upgrades
