What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute the country Medical Affairs Plan (cMAP) with strategically aligned tactics and activities
  2. Collect, analyze and translate external stakeholder insights to inform external communication and provide medical advice to commercial, market access, clinical and regulatory teams
  3. Deliver scientifically balanced, non-promotional medical education for the therapeutic area
  4. Implement investigator-initiated and local epidemiologic or (non-)interventional data-generation projects that address unmet medical needs and data gaps
  5. Collaborate with local Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) and investigators to identify and enable new phase 1–3 study opportunities in the country

Skills

Required

  • MD, PharmD or PhD degree in Life Sciences
  • 2–3+ years’ experience in medical affairs or clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial methodology and interpretation of clinical data
  • Sound scientific and clinical judgment
  • Proven ability to work as a team player and to network across matrixed organizations
  • Strong customer-facing skills
  • Confident presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
