What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and execute the Medical Affairs strategy for the Haematology portfolio, aligned to business priorities and external insights.
  2. Provide scientific and strategic leadership across cross-functional teams, influencing brand, access and evidence-generation decisions.
  3. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Medical Affairs team, building capability and ensuring consistent execution across the portfolio.
  4. Own the end-to-end Medical Affairs strategy and execution for a designated priority brand while providing oversight across other brands.
  5. Build trusted relationships with external experts and translate scientific insights into actionable strategies and evidence plans.

Skills

Required

  • Advanced degree in medicine, life sciences or related discipline (MD, PhD or equivalent preferred)
  • Significant experience in Medical Affairs or related function within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated experience in people leadership and team development
  • Experience leading Medical Affairs strategy for a product or therapeutic area
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence across a matrix organisation
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, clinical practice and evidence generation
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities
