Medical Manager Oncology role at Johnson & Johnson in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Responsibilities include sharing scientific knowledge, providing market insights, defining license indications, increasing customer understanding of products, managing investigator-initiated studies, acting as an external speaker, providing scientific support to communications and advocacy groups, mapping KOLs, collaborating with Market Access on strategy, supporting PI engagement, coaching MSLs, contributing to data generation gap identification, and collaborating with Quality, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Patient Support Program teams. Requires an MD, preferably an Oncologist, with oncology expertise and experience, proficiency in English and MS Office, and availability to travel. Experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry is needed, along with strong communication, presentation, business acumen, strategic thinking, teamwork, leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills. Knowledge of Spanish and coaching skills are a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads the sharing of scientific knowledge to internal stakeholders e.g., through training offerings that help to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams;
  2. Provides insights around key brand, marketplace themes/trends and competitors;
  3. Defines on current and future license indications and enable internal and external customers to make informed decisions;
  4. Increase the customers’ understanding of J&J Innovative Medicine products and compliance;
  5. Is the point of contact for investigators proposing investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and manages such studies in collaboration with GCO- MAO;

  • MD
  • Oncology expertise and experience

  • 4 - 6 years of work experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, academic research and/or health care
