Medical Science Liaison

The Medical Science Liaison at Pfizer in Cairo, Egypt, is responsible for leveraging medical expertise to manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), provide scientific information and research results to customers and internal stakeholders, and develop customer insights. The role involves developing and implementing Medical Strategy to support patient programs, designing and executing educational programs for healthcare professionals, and preparing medical resources. It also includes identifying medical needs, managing KOL partnerships, conducting medical training for the field force, building relationships with external organizations, leading data generation for patient needs, designing Advisory Boards, and answering medical questions. The role requires coordination with various internal functions to ensure compliance with SOPs and local regulations, and reviewing/approving Pfizer meetings, materials, and grants.

What you'd actually do

  1. Utilizes the medical resources and expertise to develop and enhance KOL management across. He / she should provide the best use of information, research results and medical updates to customers as well as internal; stakeholders to ensure Pfizer activities are well-supported by the substantiated scientific evidence.
  2. Develop and communicate customer insights based on medical to medical interactions with HCPs in the respective markets, with 100 % time allocation for customer facing medical interactions.
  3. Develop and implement the Medical Strategy to support patient programs and initiatives across region, in alignment with the marketing and Business strategy to “Put Patient First”.
  4. Design, develop and execute Medical Awareness & Educational programs needed for HCPs (including Nurses) involved in Pfizer Patient programs.
  5. Prepare and compile medical resources / Products’ Scientific data/Clinical articles/Publications /Studies/Journals/Slide-kits and Presentations, to be used according to local SOPs
