This role is for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Norway, focusing on Incretins. The MSL will be a field-based scientific expert, engaging with clinical and scientific experts to share in-depth medical and scientific information, gather insights, and support research studies. The role requires advanced scientific knowledge, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards within the healthcare industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge
  2. Excel at customer engagement and support medical/scientific information needs of scientific experts.
  3. Demonstrate strategic vision and leadership, aligned to the medical and brand strategy
  4. The MSL will provide support externally and internally including providing support for research studies, congresses, facilitating IIT and may provide TA training.
  5. MSLs will be expected to demonstrate strategic analysis, territory mapping, planning, and prioritisation to maximize efficiency.

Skills

Required

  • Advanced degree in Health Sciences (PhD / MD/ PharmD in a medically related field)
  • 2-3 years of relevant cardiometabolic health or incretin clinical or therapeutic experience
  • Field-based position requires the applicant to live on territory (preferably Oslo area, Norway)

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with health systems, academic communities, medical research, and the medical education process is highly valued.
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with at least 5 years of industry experience (Medical Affairs preferred).
  • Cardiometabolic health experience within areas of interest to Lilly.
  • Additional experience with incretins, immunology or neuroscience is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in field based roles is a benefit.
