The IBP Planner role is responsible for demand planning and inventory/supply management within Johnson & Johnson's MedTech division. This position involves developing and communicating a consensus forecast by integrating historical data, market data, and strategic plans through collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain partners. Key responsibilities include managing supply and inventory to maintain high service levels while optimizing inventory, creating scenario plans for new product launches, mitigating supply shortages, and meeting KPI targets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing SKU-level operational forecasts
  2. Interacting regularly with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Finance, QA, Regulatory, Regional & Global Planning
  3. Create scenario plans to support on-time launch of new products
  4. Take action with an appropriate sense of urgency to mitigate supply shortages
  5. Optimize inventory to avoid stock outs while reducing slow-moving inventory and scrap.
