This is a co-op position supporting the MedTech Supply Chain Procurement Organization at Johnson & Johnson. The role involves enhancing project portfolio processes, supporting technology design and adoption, exploring digital tools for procurement and supplier collaboration, developing PMO strategies, tracking KPIs, and applying data-driven insights to sourcing decisions. The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field, with strong analytical skills and technological curiosity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Enhance the SC Procurement Project Portfolio process
  2. Partner with Digital and Process Decomposition teams to support technology design, transition, change management and adoption of tools
  3. Exploring and recommending innovative digital tools to enhance procurement processes and supplier collaboration
  4. Support development of a PMO strategy to efficiently partner on cross functional reporting needs
  5. Tracking key performance indicators and supporting functional initiatives

Skills

Required

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited university for the duration of the co-op assignment, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Completion of undergraduate freshman year is required
  • Pursuing a degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analytics tools and techniques
  • Technological curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring digital solutions in procurement
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization features
  • Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to team goals
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) and adhere to J&J’s Flex policy (minimum 3 days/week in office)
  • Local travel may be required; candidates must provide their own transportation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1-B) now or in the future
