Uber Eats is hiring a Merchant Operations Associate in Taipei to manage and optimize communication and engagement initiatives for over 80k merchant partners. This role involves developing communication strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing engagement events, and collaborating with partners to enhance the merchant experience. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in communications, program management, marketing, or operations, with strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and manage merchant communication strategies across content and channels, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on messaging and ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  3. Develop and manage merchant engagement events or programs, including online and offline events.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance the merchant experience and unlock additional value.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, program management, marketing, or operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messaging and ensure consistency across multiple communication channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Nice to have

  • Experience in eCommerce, technology platforms, or merchant-facing roles is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably with merchant-facing experience or can demonstrate an understanding of merchant sentiments and needs.
