Merchant Services Credit Analyst I

Bank of America is seeking a Merchant Services Credit Analyst I to review and decision new applications or existing credit requests for Merchant Acquiring services. The role involves reviewing and verifying information to ensure accuracy and completeness, mitigating risk factors according to relevant risk frameworks, and making credit decisions according to regulations, policies, and guidelines. The position requires experience in customer contact centers, commercial or small business lending/underwriting, and knowledge of credit reports.

What you'd actually do

  1. Makes credit request decisions according to relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  2. Decisions credit requests within approval authority.
  3. Conducts appropriate analyses to decision deals, as applicable.
  4. Clearly and professionally communicates with internal colleagues and customers/clients
  5. Expands expertise by reviewing policy and procedure thoroughly and actively participating in continuing education sessions
