Mergers & Acquisitions Product Technology Diligence Architect Manager

This role is for a Product Technology Diligence Architect Manager within Deloitte's Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. The manager will assess the product and technology architecture of acquisition targets, divestiture assets, and portfolio companies to help clients make informed transaction decisions. Responsibilities include evaluating software products, digital platforms, engineering environments, identifying technical debt and risks, and assessing scalability, resilience, and operational readiness. The role requires understanding modern architectural patterns and translating technical findings into diligence outputs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Synthesize overall technology strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial and technical analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs
  2. Evaluate software products, digital platforms, engineering environments, and support technology ecosystems to identify strengths, risks, scalability considerations, technical debt, and value creation opportunities
  3. Evaluate architecture quality, technical debt, engineering maturity, and platform scalability
  4. Assist in product and technology architecture assessments for buy-side, sell-side, and carve-out due diligence engagements
  5. Assess product scalability, resilience, maintainability, extensibility, security and operational readiness across R&D organization, SDLC, strategy and roadmap, and underlying infrastructure
