Associate Client Relationship Manager (ACRM) at Merrill Wealth Management, supporting business objectives by ensuring client service expectations are met and exceeded while balancing risk. This is a training role to learn and understand the CRM role before taking over a full CRM role. The ACRM reports to the Division Client Relationship Manager and the Market Executive, functioning as a member of the Market leadership team. Responsibilities include promoting client satisfaction, reviewing and approving client documents and transactions (once licensed), participating in the management and training of Client Associates and Service Support Staff, and developing an understanding of Merrill Products & Services, trend analysis, risk assessment, Human Resources, and Industry Knowledge.

What you'd actually do

  1. Promote the satisfaction of client service expectations while balancing the risk and exposure for Merrill
  2. Once licensed, review and approve client documents and transactions as delegated by the Office Management Team (OMT)
  3. Participate in the management and training & development of the Market's Client Associates and Service Support Staff
  4. Develop an understanding of and exposure to a variety of topics including Merrill Products & Services, trend analysis, risk assessment, Human Resources, and broad Industry Knowledge.

Skills

Required

  • Series 7 (SIE, 7 Top-Off) AND Series 66 (or Series 63 AND Series 65), Series 9 AND Series 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses
  • SIE strongly preferred
  • If unlicensed, must pass the AP Reasoning Assessment
  • Strong client service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory, supervisory, and corporate policies and procedures
  • Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations, etc.)
  • Good organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize tasks

Nice to have

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services experience preferred
  • Previous experience managing a team of at least 10 including the ability to monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise, and delegate a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
