Caterpillar is seeking an experienced Metallurgical Engineer to join their Advanced Materials Technology Department. The role involves conducting Failure & Metallurgical Analysis on a variety of components, providing design support and development. Responsibilities include leading material analysis investigations, developing and analyzing metallurgical testing plans, creating technical reports, and providing technical support to laboratory operations and process controls.

What you'd actually do
