Metrology and Calibration Specialist (associate & Mid-level)

What you'd actually do

  1. Calibration/Certification of Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
  2. Analyzes data and documents results
  3. Troubleshoots and resolves of laboratory and test-related problems
  4. Coaches and trains others
  5. Coordinates test requirements with customers as required, determines test methods and capabilities

Skills

Required

  • Export Control compliance requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience in Metrology and/or measurement science
  • Experience with dimensional, force, mass, pressure, linear measurements, temperature, vacuum, and/or other physical metrology processes

Nice to have

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in at least one parameter: Linear Measurements, Pressure, Temperature/Humidity, Flow, Force, or Electrical and other Physical Metrology processes
  • Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience
  • Experience with Labview, C++, and Access and/or experience writing and configuring automated software and hardware tests
