Manager of Procurement for Naval Power Team supporting Naval Radar and Undersea programs. Responsibilities include managing solicitations (RFQ, RFP, RFI), proposal evaluation, supplier management, cost/price analysis, negotiation, and risk management. Requires experience with FAR/DFARS and contractual vehicles. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prepare and obtain of all manner of solicitations including RFQ, RFP, and RFI activities from prospective subcontractors and employing various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability.
  2. Evaluation of Proposal/Quotation activities from prospective subcontractors and employing various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability.
  3. Managing Supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones.
  4. Monitoring and reporting cost, schedule and status of suppliers and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary.
  5. Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or similar role.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS.
  • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in supply chain, Business Finance or STEM field.
  • Experience in the defense industry.
  • Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Ability to complete compliant EPAD Packages.
  • Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcome (i.e., multi-task).
  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes and projects.
