This role is for a Mid Enterprise Business Development Representative who will be responsible for introducing eCommerce brands to the Klaviyo platform, building a pipeline through cold outreach, strategic prospecting, and compelling messaging. The role requires fluency in English and Japanese, and an excitement for exploring and learning about AI tools to improve work efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate qualified opportunities for the sales team(Account Executive’s) through a rigorous qualification approach
  2. Build prospective relationships with e-commerce brands and help them understand how Klaviyo can drive their growth.
  3. Learn to effectively identify buyer needs, position Klaviyo’s value, and route leads appropriately to Account Executives.
  4. Stay organized, focused, and consistent in your outreach across multiple channels—calls, emails, and social.
  5. Demonstrate grit and resilience by staying positive and motivated, even in the face of rejection.
