Mid-level Ergonomist

Boeing is seeking a Mid-Level Ergonomist to support the Boeing 737 program. The role involves applying ergonomic principles to research, design, and verify mitigations for ergonomics risks in production and office environments, supporting health and safety initiatives, and providing mentorship. Responsibilities include performing ergonomic evaluations, developing corrective action plans, analyzing emerging technology for hazards, and leading training.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan, implement and assess occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and balanced work environment
  2. Perform ergonomic evaluations in manufacturing and office settings
  3. Lead audits, investigations, and coordinate mitigation efforts
  4. Develops corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audits and inspections
  5. Partner with management, engineering and mechanics to facilitate risk management decisions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience applying ergonomic principles and best practices to support the development, implementation and maintenance of occupational health and safety programs

Nice to have

  • Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)
  • Experience with ergonomic risk assessment tools
