This role focuses on administering and implementing US Industrial Security Standards, including personnel security lifecycle management, internal security controls, administrative inquiries, and physical security duties within Boeing facilities. It requires experience in personnel security and proficiency with MS Office Suite, with preferred experience in specific security domains like NISP, SAP, and SCI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Executes the personnel security lifecycle including initiating and tracking background investigations, reviewing adjudication findings, granting or revoking physical and logical access, maintaining secure personnel records, and ensuring timely re-investigations
  2. Conducts assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  3. Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action
  4. Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  5. Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in personnel security
  • 3+ years of experience working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS Project

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
  • Experience in Industrial Security
  • Experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
  • Experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Special Access Program (SAP), and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Experience communicating with internal and external customers
