Mid-level or Lead Integration Engineer – Virtual Reality

This role focuses on developing and integrating Virtual Reality (VR) scenes and scenarios to support engineering decisions in product design, production, manufacturing, maintenance, and human safety within the aerospace industry. The engineer will be responsible for creating VR environments, managing labs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product integration, safety, and maintainability.

What you'd actually do

  1. Continuously develop, validate, and deliver technical data for airplane maintenance and fault isolation, ensuring adherence to Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and FAA/Foreign Regulatory standards.
  2. Analyzes complex engineering designs, supplier specifications, and engine manufacturer design data to identify and formulate maintenance, repair, and tooling support requirements.
  3. Develops configuration-specific procedures and instructions accordingly.
  4. Drives product designs and process improvements to ensure safety, supportability and maintainability.
  5. Develops and implements fault isolation procedures and techniques.

What the JD emphasized

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working in engineering with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams.
  • Strong CAD interoperability skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce concise report-outs for multi-function leadership.
