This role is for a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst at Boeing's Aerospace Composites Center. Responsibilities include incorporating change and planning decisions, applying SCM methodologies, analyzing material requirements, verifying Bills of Material and schedules, determining part number attributes, initiating and authorizing order releases, ensuring on-time delivery, resolving order delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, developing and controlling inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels, analyzing and dispositioning excess inventories, developing and creating schedules for products and services, assisting with new business proposals, and implementing process improvements. Requires 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, forecasting, interpreting Bill of Materials, ERP systems, scheduling in an engineering/manufacturing environment, and supply chain analysis.

  1. Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  2. Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements.
  3. Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
  4. Determines part number attributes.
  5. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.
