The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Mid-Level Windows System Administrator **to join our team in **El Segundo, CA. **
The Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) team provides and employs best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques to protect classified and proprietary information.
The selected candidate’s opportunities include development and integration of a variety of system hardware and software application(s) supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams. Working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results, this position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Identifies computing requirements and confers on system needs
- Performs a multidisciplined range of technical systems and application activities
- Installs, configures and maintains multiplatform systems hardware, software and components
- Develops, designs, integrates and maintains all computer applications
- Prepares release planning for software and hardware across the system
- Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives
- Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability
- Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations
- Integrates security solutions into information systems
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
- 3+ years of experience administering user system access and establishing safeguards to protect information to meet network security requirements
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 10
- Experience working on classified networks
- 3+ years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Experience with active directory (AD) to include applying domain group policies
- Experience in Agile Methodologies
- Experience with upgrades and patches for operating systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software
- Experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
- Experience developing PowerShell scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets, automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

Summary pay range: $102,850– $139,150
