Mid Market Account Executive

Datadog is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new customers. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from lead conversion to closing deals, and collaborating with internal teams to convey the value of Datadog's observability and security platform, which is described as being for the AI era and using AI for issue detection.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus entirely on net-new logo acquisition
  2. Convert inbound leads to closed opportunities
  3. Leverage tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg
  4. Strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users
  5. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
  6. Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and on-stage technical demonstrations
