Mid-market Account Executive

Postman is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to manage a territory of existing Postman users, build strategies to understand their usage, and introduce them to the Enterprise Suite. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, creating outbound opportunities, educating customers on Postman's value, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer success. The ideal candidate has experience in technical SaaS sales, particularly with developer or technical products, and a proven track record of hunting and closing net new logos.

What you'd actually do

  1. Take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure
  2. Build a strategic plan for your territory
  3. Create and ومanage sales sourced outbound opportunities
  4. Execute a land and expand sales strategy to drive widespread adoption and larger deployments
  5. Educate customers on the value of Postman throughout the evaluation and adoption cycle

Skills

Required

  • 3-5 years experience hunting and closing net new logos
  • Experienced with creatively sourcing pipeline outside of inbound lead flow
  • Able to strategically map out and break into accounts
  • Relevant sales experience in an Enterprise SaaS organization
  • Experience selling developer and/or technical products
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong track record of navigating organizations
  • Ability to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively
  • Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
