Datadog is seeking a Mid-Market Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise, support sales, and gather product feedback. The role involves customer engagement, technical presentations, and assisting clients with platform evaluations. While the company operates in the AI era and uses AI, this specific role is not directly involved in building or researching AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with the sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
  2. Continually learn new technology to build competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
  3. Assist with or lead discovery with customers to uncover business needs, technical challenges, and the map the two together
  4. Deliver tailored product and technical presentations with potential clients
  5. Help clients evaluate the platform and assist when they run into roadblocks.
