This role focuses on the integration of Mixed Signal IP for AI/ML hardware acceleration, specifically TPUs. The engineer will drive IP selection, planning, integration, and validation across the silicon lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance and power efficiency of these accelerators.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive Mixed Signal IP selection and procurement.
  2. Own Mixed Signal IP planning and roadmap definition.
  3. Coordinate pre-silicon integration strategy of Mixed Signal IPs.
  4. Coordinate Mixed Signal IP implementation with cross-functional teams (e.g., Design, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, Post-Silicon).
  5. Assist in post silicon bring-up and validation of Mixed Signal IPs.

Skills

Required

  • silicon engineering experience
  • design integration flows and requirements
  • analog PHY designs (e.g., PCIe, UCIe, or HBM PHYs)

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
  • 10 years of silicon engineering experience.
  • analog mixed signal designs (e.g., high speed IOs, sensors, PLLs, etc.)
  • writing design specifications
  • coordinating designs through the entire silicon product lifecycle
  • Ability to coordinate execution across multiple cross-functional teams.
