Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Air Dominance & Strike : Air Dominance & Strike Vehicle Software : Modeling, Simulation & Analysis

The Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MSA) Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain virtual representations of vehicles for Anduril's aerospace systems. This role involves creating and deploying vehicle models and simulation instantiations, integrating them with flight control and mission autonomy software, and supporting development through physics-based digital representations. Responsibilities include developing simulation solutions for GNC algorithms, SITL, HITL, PITL, Monte-Carlo analysis, and customer training, as well as analyzing simulation and test data. The role requires proficiency in C/C++, scientific computing systems like MATLAB/SIMULINK and Python, and experience with aerospace systems and flight dynamics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Simulation solutions for Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithm development
  2. Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) solutions
  3. Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) solutions
  4. Pilot-In-The-Loop (PITL) solutions
  5. Customer product training solutions
