Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer - Air Dominance & Strike - Advanced Effects

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Air Dominance & Strike : Air Dominance & Strike Vehicle Software : Modeling, Simulation & Analysis

This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-fidelity virtual representations of vehicles for modeling, simulation, and analysis within the defense industry. The engineer will create and deploy vehicle models and simulation instantiations, integrate them with flight control and mission autonomy software, and support the development of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms. The position involves working with various simulation types (SITL, HITL, PITL) and analyzing flight test data.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment from across our portfolio of programs and products:
  2. Simulation solutions for Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithm development
  3. Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) solutions
  4. Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) solutions
  5. Pilot-In-The-Loop (PITL) solutions

Skills

Required
