Northrop Grumman is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to support analyses including cost, readiness, obsolescence forecasting, and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA). The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of engineering experience or a Master's degree, experience in basic statistical analyses, and an active US Government Secret clearance. Python programming experience is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. support analyses including: cost analysis (Development and Operations & Support), Readiness (Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Improvement, Spares forecasting, Fleet Readiness Modeling); Obsolescence forecasting; Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); and spares modeling.
  2. interface with other functional departments, including Air Vehicle, Avionics, Systems Engineering, R&M, Diminishing Material Shortages (DMS) team, Support Hardware, and supplier design engineers to collect data and strategize/provide solutions.
  3. possess strong communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Tools is essential.

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM and 0 years of engineering experience
