Northrop Grumman is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to support missile defense, space, and intelligence programs. The role involves developing and analyzing models and simulations using AFSIM, interpreting complex data sets with Python, MATLAB, or SQL, and working with SysML models. The position requires a Secret security clearance and experience in MS&A for systems development.

What you'd actually do

  1. This position will specifically focus on the development and analysis of models and simulations utilizing the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Framework.
  2. Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) to inform the development of systems along the left side of the “Systems Engineering Vee”
  3. Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies to interpret complex data sets
  4. Experience reading and interpreting systems engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
  5. Experience mentoring and developing junior-level engineers
