What you'd actually do

  1. Owns critical high volume manufacturing equipment and processes that enable rapid device miniaturization and the mass production of integrated circuits.
  2. Conducts tests and measurements of their operations to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process line.
  3. Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products, to meet safety, quality and cost indicator goals.
  4. Grows insitu manufacturing capacity to high volumes to demonstrate the technology capability while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing sites across the globe.
  5. Owns execution of maintenance and repair activities for equipment and relevant module of components.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a specialized field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline) and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a specialized field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or PhD in a specialized field with 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control methods and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, manufacturing process control, and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in equipment adjustment and monitoring.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in manufacturing environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with group problem-solving and manufacturability optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead process characterization and improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with excursion management systems and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
