This role focuses on driving transformation and change management within Ford's MP&L (Material Planning & Logistics) operations. The analyst will lead supply chain projects, manage cross-functional teams, engage with suppliers and customers, oversee cost and schedule management, and drive process improvements. Key responsibilities include leading digital transformation efforts like ERP enhancements, supply chain visibility tools, automation, and data analytics, all within the automotive sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Program Planning & Governance: Define scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs for supply chain projects; align with quarterly gate reviews and steering committees.
  2. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead teams including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, quality, and finance to deliver supply chain initiatives.
  3. Supplier & Customer Engagement: Facilitate supplier training, customer surveys, and symposiums to improve collaboration and performance.
  4. Cost & Schedule Management: Develop sourcing strategies, material ramp plans, and cost models; monitor budgets and schedules
  5. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in supply chain operating models, governance, and decision frameworks

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including S&OP, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Strong understanding of MP&L systems (e.g., SAP S4 HANA, E2Open)
  • Strong understanding of MP&L Processes including parts follow up processes.
  • MP&L Plant Operations Experience
