What you'd actually do

  1. Perform technical capability evaluations of metallic raw material casting and forging suppliers
  2. Coordinate with Boeing Global Engineering teams to support regional supplier activities
  3. Leads others and work statement, assist defining strategies and/or provides consultation for metallic raw material casting and forging suppliers
  4. Provide education and guidance to non-technical stakeholders on metals technologies
  5. Define requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture and maintenance of products and approve their use

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years of experience with metallic materials and metallic processes
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to have

  • 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Aerospace castings, forgings, or wrought products
  • Experience with metallic machining
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
