This position is for an enthusiastic, passionate pre-graduate who wants to gain working experience as a Product Development Engineer (PDE) in Intel's Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE). In this role, you'll be expected to participate in global teams to enable Intel's product roadmap while actively contributing to AI-driven innovation and transformation. Responsibilities: Core Engineering: • Performing evaluation and debug of new test programs • Resolving product/manufacturability issues related to product testing hardware and software • Performing data analysis and deploying solutions to improve test coverage, yield, hardware capacity, and other product health indicators • Development and debug of support software to support test program validation, data analysis, and test debug AI and Innovation Focus: • Developing and deploying AI agents to automate engineering workflows and accelerate productivity • Driving AI adoption across engineering teams by identifying use cases and implementing solutions • Leveraging generative AI tools to enhance data analysis, debug processes, and test program development • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to explore and implement agentic AI solutions • Contributing to Intel's AI acceleration initiatives by developing innovative AI-powered engineering tools • Identifying opportunities to integrate AI into existing engineering processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Third -year or Final-year student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Excellent problem-solving, technical, team, and communication skills.
- Python and object-oriented programming skills would be an advantage for this position.
- Passion for AI and emerging technologies.
- Be able to work onsite for 4 days per week.
- Be able to commit to at least a 6-month internship program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
