This role is for a Hardware Development Engineer at AMD, focusing on researching, designing, developing, and testing computer hardware, specifically thermal components for servers. What you'd actually do

  1. Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment.
  2. Play an active role in developing thermal components using 3D CAD software and advanced engineering analysis.
  3. Provide regular Q&A and on-site support to company manufacturing engineering group as well as technical support for customers.
  4. Support engineering team by loading, testing, and validating thermal solutions for rackmount server.
  5. Troubleshoot thermal and/or airflow issues in new and existing product lines.
