Mulesoft Developer – Consultant

This role focuses on integration development using MuleSoft, designing and implementing solutions for seamless communication between applications. It involves API management, EDI implementation, development, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation. While it mentions utilizing AI features for acceleration, the core craft is integration engineering, not AI model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design complex integration solutions following industry best practices and leveraging various integration design patterns (e.g., publish/subscribe, request/reply, aggregator). Develop and implement solutions that adhere to established enterprise architecture frameworks.
  2. Design, build, and manage APIs using API Management capabilities, ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems (REST/SOAP).
  3. Implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, including configuration of trading partners, profiles, and standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
  4. Develop, test, and deploy integration processes across environments (Test, UAT, Production), managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  5. Monitor integration performance, proactively identify and resolve issues, and provide expert-level post-deployment support.
