Named Account Executive, Public Sector: United States Postal Service

Salesforce is seeking a Named Account Executive for their Public Sector team, focusing on the United States Postal Service. This role involves selling the entire 360 platform to existing customers and new leads, building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, and coordinating internal resources to meet customer needs. The position requires a strong sales background, solution selling mentality, and the ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
  2. Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  3. Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs
  4. Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources
  5. Define and complete territory / account sales plans for assigned territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities.

Skills

Required

  • Quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
  • Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales experience (ex: SaaS)
  • Solution selling mentality
  • Ability to develop and manage sales pipeline
  • Ability to work within a team of various partners in a matrixed environment

  • Experience focused on large enterprise US Federal Civilian Accounts
