The role focuses on new business development, building relationships, and growing revenue. Responsibilities include client management, utilizing data for recommendations, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate is a highly driven, solution-oriented seller with a strong understanding of Salesforce products and government sector needs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with State Gov clients
  2. Utilize data analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  3. Provide regular progress updates to management regarding client accounts.
  4. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including client retention and revenue growth.
  5. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by consistently exceeding expectations.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
  • selling to State and Local Government agencies across the Southeast
  • Work well within a team of various partners within a matrixed environment (client directors, solution engineers, executives, etc.)
  • Highly driven individual with a focus on execution, strong sense of urgency and a belief in our mission.
  • Solution selling mentality: develop a plan and solution, articulate value, and navigate complexities of our customers to drive revenue
  • Must live in territory
