NDT Quality Test Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist –2nd Shift to join the** Everett Delivery Center **based out of Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment
- Develops procedures and processes
- Performs tests or inspections and collects data
- Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations
- Provides feedback on adverse trends
- Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products
- Conducts certification preparation training
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Currently hold or have you previously held Level II NDT certification (Ultra Sonic, Eddy Current, Radiography)
- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and weekends if necessary
- Capable of working in confined spaces and fit through a 10X18 oval opening
- Ability to pass and complete fall protection training and work with heights of seventy feet or more and not exceed weight restrictions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test) in Eddy Current and/or Ultrasonic and/or Radiography.
- Associate’s degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
