Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to support the C2BMC X-Lab Test Program. This role involves network design, development, testing, and deployment within a Defense Department environment, requiring compliance with RMF and STIG security practices. The engineer will collaborate with the X-Lab Events Team, support network infrastructure, and troubleshoot complex network issues. A Secret security clearance and IAT Level II or higher certification are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a primary Network Engineer and Developer to support network build-outs and operational environment deployments
  2. Collaborate with the X-Lab Events Team to manage and support scheduled test events within deadlines
  3. Support, analyze, and integrate complex designs related to network equipment, troubleshooting, and long-term solutions
  4. Maintain detailed documentation using industry-standard tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
  5. Represent the organization in resolving technical issues in customer-facing settings, ensuring excellence and responsiveness
