What you'd actually do

  1. The candidate will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program.
  2. In this role, the candidate will serve as a Network Engineer and Developer, supporting network build-out and deployments to the operational environment as needed.
  3. The candidate will work within an Agile Scrum team and plan work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements.
  4. The candidate must be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies
  5. Must have prior experience with presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
  • current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance
  • Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE)
  • authentication and encryption methods/capabilities (TACACS+, Active Directory, GEM-X)
  • virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter, vSphere)
  • Automated testing framework, Python, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • WAN optimizers, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment

Nice to have

  • prior C2BMC network experience
  • protocol analyzers/sniffers (Wireshark)
  • Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) certifications
  • familiarity with virtualization
  • Agile development and related test methodologies
  • handling large data sets, using spreadsheet analysis, and employing related tools
  • development of action plans based on data analysis, documenting deficiency reports, and presenting analysis results and plans of action
