What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the architecture, engineering, design, development, and deployment of Network Management Systems (NMS) in support of contract and government customer requirements.
  2. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, emphasizing automation, comprehensive documentation, and adherence to industry best practices.
  3. Gather and analyze software requirements, generate estimates, create detailed design specifications, and collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and validate hardware-software integrations.
  4. Develop and execute automated test plans, validate test environments and data, implement code fixes, and generate technical reports.
  5. Deliver advanced network management capabilities for a global network infrastructure comparable in scale and complexity to a Fortune 50 enterprise.

Skills

Required

  • 16 years of experience (combination of work history and education)
  • Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
  • Experience managing Network Management Systems (NMS) teams geographically dispersed
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • IT network management systems implementation, operation and maintenance
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking, and critical thinking
  • Working in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic and changing environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Service Now or similar ITSM
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Eligibility to drive an AT&T company vehicle
