Network Monitoring Engineer

This role is for a Network Monitoring Engineer responsible for the operational management, delivery, and strategic development of network monitoring tools and infrastructure. The engineer will focus on optimizing processes, automating tasks, and ensuring the tools meet operational needs, with a strong emphasis on networking proficiency and familiarity with observability principles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Day to day operational management of Network monitoring tools : Responsible for accurate inventory of monitored devices, making sure all monitoring parameters are adhering to corporate monitoring catalogues and accommodating exception requests wherever applicable
  2. Lead Solution Delivery: Take charge of building and migrating our tools environment, ensuring seamless monitoring solution delivery
  3. Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to colleagues and collaborate with various departments to enhance our network monitoring capabilities
  4. Optimize & Innovate: Analyze data to optimize monitoring processes and propose enhancements to our network monitoring infrastructure
  5. Strategic Contribution: Play a pivotal role in developing and refining our overall monitoring strategy and architecture
