Network Production Engineer

Meta is seeking a Network Production Engineer to build, manage, and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol data center and backbone networks. Responsibilities include developing optimized network monitoring systems, designing and deploying new network architectures, automating network event mitigation, analyzing data to diagnose network issues, and testing new network products and software features. The role involves collaborating with software development teams, qualifying vendor software releases, and operating DC test lab networks, with participation in an on-call rotation.

  • Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
