This role focuses on network security architecture within a consulting firm, involving the design and implementation of security solutions for clients. It requires expertise in cloud security, firewalls, container security, and enterprise-level technical stacks, with a focus on managing cyber and organizational risk.

What you'd actually do

  1. As a Senior Consultant, you will work with our diverse teams of passionate professionals to help solve for some of today’s toughest cybersecurity challenges to enable or clients to achieve business growth and manage risk.
  2. Includes security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.
  3. design and architecture of enterprise-level technical stacks, including VPNs, CDN solutions, Load Balancers, Subnetting, Next-Generation firewall design, and highly scalable security solutions like Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies
  4. working with cloud security guardrails for major CSPs (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  5. experience with container security and workload protection (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Cyber Security)
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in cloud, network, or identity security domains
  • 1+ years of experience with CNAAP, SASE, or enterprise firewall solutions (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Wiz, Snyk, SentinelOne, or similar cloud security platforms)
  • 2+ years of experience with container security and workload protection (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 2+ years of experience with one or more cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and native security tools
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud security guardrails for major CSPs (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • 3+ years of experience in the design and architecture of enterprise-level technical stacks, including VPNs, CDN solutions, Load Balancers, Subnetting, Next-Generation firewall design, and highly scalable security solutions like Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in large, complex, or enterprise environments using CSP platforms and security toolsets
  • 2+ years of experience with governance, risk, or compliance initiatives involving common frameworks
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average

Nice to have

  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks and/or Crowdstrike’s platform of solutions
  • Understanding of vendor competitive analysis (e.g., Wiz vs Snyk)
  • Ability to communicate and advise on solution design based on client use-cases, requirements, or other success criteria
  • Previous consulting or “Big 4” experience
  • Relevant advanced cybersecurity or related certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCIE, CISSP)
