NVIDIA is seeking a Networking Architect to research and develop next-generation networking solutions for AI-accelerated data centers. This role involves working across various layers, from ASIC design to algorithms and systems, and collaborating with internal teams, partners, and standards bodies.

What you'd actually do

  1. This role requires an active part in research and development of networking solutions to enable the next generation of accelerated data centers.
  2. It spans over various layers from ASIC design to algorithms, topologies and systems, and more.
  3. You will partner with internal teams, strategic partners, standard bodies and networking communities to initiate and develop groundbreaking networking solutions for AI!

Skills

Required

  • B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of previous industry or research experience in computer networks
  • Experience in developing networking applications, ASICs and/or real-time SW running on the ASICs
  • Understanding in networking and routing protocols
  • Possess strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Work and operate in a highly sophisticated environment
  • Ability to work concurrently with multiple groups in the organization and with strategic partners

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in RDMA, with focus on RoCE
  • Understanding of various network topologies and their attributes
  • Understanding and experience with load balancing and congestion control algorithms
  • Practice of industry standards and/or the experience of working with standards organizations and/or open source communities
  • Possess strong skills with Python and/or C++
