This role is a leadership position within Plaid's new business generation team, focused on managing and developing a team of sales representatives to achieve revenue and pipeline targets. It involves pipeline development, coaching, and team building within the fintech domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will oversee a team of 3-8 new business representatives: You will be responsible for managing them to hit their quota and other key metrics
  2. You will lead team performance to deliver business needs: You will partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure we generate pipe to the appropriate level and quality to hit business targets
  3. You will recruit, build, and nurture a high performance team: Identify strong sales talent, onboard them, and coach them to develop professionally
  4. Pipeline development and management: Ensure pipe generation meets business targets; Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to unlock and unblock pipe creation
  5. Coaching and mentorship: Coaching team develop their sales acumen and achieve professional ambitions
