This role is for a Module Equipment Technician supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment performance in a high-tech, cleanroom environment. The role requires performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, disassembling, adjusting, repairing, installing, and assembling equipment, executing setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance, and monitoring equipment performance data. It also involves documenting system failures, partnering with engineering teams for experiments and data collection, and supporting engineering troubleshooting efforts. Collaboration with module engineering and construction teams during factory ramps is also part of the job. The role requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and procedural standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment
  2. Disassemble, adjust, repair, install, and assemble equipment using layout plans, blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation
  3. Execute equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance; coordinate with suppliers for service and repairs
  4. Monitor, analyze, and interpret equipment and performance data to improve tool reliability, availability, and module performance
  5. Document system failures; update and create equipment specifications to support maintenance and performance improvements

Skills

Required

  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree & 1+ year Technical certification or trade school OR HS/GED or higher non-semi degree & 2+ years hand on experience including military technical experience OR HS/GED or higher non-semi degree & 1+ year semi equip maintenance experience OR Associate degree STEM Related to semi. Mfg.(MET)/STEM (operator)
