The NOC HC / Operations Management Center Engineer will independently oversee data center operations, leading performance analyses and monitoring facility health. They will drive process improvements, manage incidents, and oversee new region builds. This role requires a proactive approach to facility management, ensuring optimal data center efficiency and stability.
- Independently manage one or more data centers, ensuring optimal performance and health.
- Lead performance trend analyses and identify areas for operational improvements.
- Proactively monitor facility health (power, cooling, security) and implement enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align processes with industry best practices.
- Lead on-the-ground incident resolution and provide support for escalated technical issues.
- Utilize advanced automation tools to mitigate risks and effectively manage issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and execute incident management protocols.
- Conduct root cause analysis to improve operations and document process improvements.
- Oversee new region builds and expansion activities, serving as the main liaison.
- Provide oversight for installations, repairs, and logistics, directing component upgrades.
