This role involves conducting Nondestructive Testing (NDT) on aerospace products using methods like ultrasonic (UT), eddy current (ET), and radiographic (RT). The role requires obtaining Boeing NDT certification and passing a vision exam, with documented evidence of NDT education/OJT hours for Level 3 review. A U.S. Security Clearance is also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards.
  2. Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity.
  3. Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results.
  4. Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
  5. Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal, documented hours of NDT training/experience or military equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice to have

  • Currently hold or previously held Level II NDT certification in Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiography (RT)
  • More than 3 years of related work experience (Level 3)
  • More than 5 years of related work experience (Level 4)
